He took Collage and ran with it

Dan Ciupe, owner of Residential Networks, a Chicago, Il based home technology design and installation company, saw the potential of Russound’s Collage Powerline Media and Intercom system, and ran with it.

While working with a developer on Moderna Chicago, a project of 18 high-end, three bedroom, two bath condominiums in West Chicago, Dan saw the opportunity to add a new premium feature to the standard offerings.

In addition to amenities such as quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances, wine chillers, gas fireplaces, pre-wiring for 5.1 surround sound in the living room and stereo speakers in the master bedroom, roof decks, white oak hardwood flooring, mirror integrated plasma televisions, Ciupe suggested that a Russound Collage Powerline Media and Intercom Keypad and Media Manager be included in each living room.

The system allows the homeowner to access FM radio and digital music stored on their home computer networks or Internet radio. If the homeowners like additional keypads can be easily installed in the kitchen, bedrooms, or bathrooms.

The developer and architect were both so impressed with the functionality and features of the Collage Powerline Media and Intercom system, that they had Ciupe’s company install systems in both of their homes.

  3. The rooms' features are amazing! The plasma TVs, the flooring, the appliances, and all that are great for a modern setup. The flooring makes me remember some of the hardwood flooring Indianapolis condominiums have. Plus the inclusion of that amazing Collage! Maybe I'll have that installed in our new house. Thanks for sharing this!
